Our 2018 spring harvest, White Peony King, was grown and produced at the peak of the Tai Mu Mountain from the top bud and 2-3 leaves. It won the 2018 Gold Prize in Fujian Province's White Tea Contest, making it the #1 White Peony in the region.
The Early steepings are laced with sweet honey, clover notes, and a slight earthiness comes forward in later steepings. The tea was named after the peony aroma that emanates from the tea leaves, and the tea also retains a peony aroma while hot. This is the perfect tea for those who want a light and delicate mouthfeel, followed with a smooth and mildly sweet aftertaste.
