This is one of our most unique and sought after Raw (Sheng) Pu Erh teas from the old tea trees of Jing Mai mountain, located in Pu Er City, Yunnan Province. This is a 2007 Raw Cake made with an unique and rare tea varietal that has an attached parasitical plant on the tree itself called “Crab Legs”, or scientifically known as Visum liquidambaricolum Hayata. It has prized medicinal qualities, as well as it gives an extra body and Cha Qi to the Pu Erh tea, and it also has an incredible Hui Gan. “Crab Legs” are almost like pine looking coral spikes that grow on these old tea trees in the ancient tea forest of Yunnan Lancang River Basin, and are only found on thousand year old tea trees.
