Made from old wild arbor Pu Erh trees, this Meng Hai Factory produced Big Leaf, Ripe Pu Erh, is an unsorted blend of big leaves, small buds, and twigs, and was semi wet stored. The unsorted blending was great for post fermentation, and as a result, created a nicely aged, full bodied Pu Erh, with a clean and smooth, velvety finish, followed with a lingering sweet aftertaste.
The broth has the flavor profiles and aromas of almond, vanilla, oak, earth, and plums.

All of Aroma Tea's pu erhs are incredible and this one is no exception. It is earthy and slightly sweet. I tend to drink my pu erhs very strong and there is never any bitterness, just the same smooth taste through every infusion.
