Made from old wild arbor Pu Erh trees, this Meng Hai Factory produced Big Leaf, Ripe Pu Erh, is an unsorted blend of big leaves, small buds, and twigs, and was semi wet stored. The unsorted blending was great for post fermentation, and as a result, created a nicely aged, full bodied Pu Erh, with a clean and smooth, velvety finish, followed with a lingering sweet aftertaste.
The broth has the flavor profiles and aromas of almond, vanilla, oak, earth, and plums.
