Made from old wild arbor Pu Erh trees, this Meng Hai Factory produced Big Leaf, Raw Pu Erh, is an unsorted blend of big leaves, small buds, and twigs, and was semi wet stored. The unsorted blending was great for post fermentation, and as a result, created a nicely aged, full bodied Pu Erh, with a clean and smooth, velvety finish, followed with a lingering sweet aftertaste.
The broth has the flavor profiles and aromas of almond, vanilla, oak, earth, and plums.
Origin: Menghai, Xishuangbanna Prefecture, Yunnan Province
We recommend using Chinese Yixing (purple clay) or porcelain tea ware. Rinse tea cup and teapot with hot water. Use about 2 grams of tea leaves (1-2 teaspoons) for every 150ml of water. Steep tea leaves in hot water at 100°c (212°F) for 1 minute for the first and second brewing. Gradually increase steeping time for subsequent brewing.
