Yabao tea is a very unique tea made with an interesteing tea cultivar from Yunnan, China. Made entirely of first flush spring sun-dried silver needles, the flavor is very floral, with strong fruity and malty notes. This tea was processed in a way that is very similar to making raw Moacha Pu Erh. Therefore, through many years of storage, this tea will continue to age and develop an even sweeter texture and taste.

We recommend using Chinese Yixing (purple clay) or porcelain tea ware. Rinse tea cup and teapot with hot water. Use about 2 grams of tea leaves (1-2 teaspoons) for every 150ml of water. Steep tea leaves in hot water at 100°c (212°F) for 1 minute for the first and second brewing. Gradually increase steeping time for subsequent brewing.
