This is a special grade, Dry Storage, Ripe Pu Erh tea cake, pressed in 1998. Comprised of the perfect blending of tea buds, big leaves, and twigs, the flavor is incredibly complex with a great mouth feel. Beautifully dry stored and maintained in Kunming for 15 years, the aroma has strong hints of cacao, spice, berries, with a thick flavor and mouth feel. The aftertaste is long and lingering, with a mild sweetness that can be noticed by the seasoned tea drinker. We recommend using Chinese Yixing (purple clay) or porcelain tea ware. Rinse tea cup and teapot with hot water. Use about 2 grams of tea leaves (1-2 teaspoons) for every 150ml of water. Steep tea leaves in hot water at 100°c (212°F) for 1 minute for the first and second brewing. Gradually increase steeping time for subsequent brewing.
