Our 2015 Spring harvested, hand gathered Jin Xuan Oolong comes from the high mountains of Alishan. Being our second to highest graded Jin Xuan Oolng that we offer, this particular varietal is still very complex and rich in flavor, having a very straight forward deeply floral flavor and aroma, followed with a creamy and buttery body, and finishes off smoothly with a very mellow and clean floral aftertaste.
Origin: Chaiyi County, Alishan Mountain, Taiwan
We recommend using Chinese Yixing (purple clay) or porcelain tea ware. Rinse tea cup and teapot with hot water. Fill the teapot 1/4 to 1/3 full with tea leaves, or 2 grams of tea leaves for every 150ml of water if you are not using Yixing teapot. Steep tea leaves in hot water at 100°c (212°F) for 1 minute for the first and second brewing. Gradually increase steeping time for subsequent brewing.
